Bayon temple, Siem Reap, built in the late 12th century or early 13th century. Bayon's most distinctive feature is the multitude of massive stone faces on the many towers which jut out from the upper terrace and cluster around its central peak. The temple was host to 49 towers; now only 37 remain. The number of faces is approximately 200, but since some are only partially preserved there can be no definitive count.

Banteay Srey temple, Siem Reap, Cambodia, is a 10th century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Banteay Srey is built largely of red sandstone with delicate carvings throughout. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale, unusually so when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction.
